The Pass Plus course consists of 6 seperate driving lessons designed to extend your driving skills, these lessons teach you better skills at driving at night or on the motorway. At the end of the pass plus course there is no final test.

A course will typically cost around the region of £100-£150 and needs to be taken with an instructor that is qualified specifically to take the course.
17to40.co.uk offers a pass plus discount of up to 35% with some schemes. It is important to get a quote first with and without the qualification as not all schemes will honour it and sometimes it will not save you any money. If you have had an accident or have points on your licence a Pass Plus discount may not be available to you.
However, normally for a newly qualified driver the discount available from completing pass plus will far outstrip the cost of the course. For example if the cost of the course is £150. The discount on a £1200 premium could be 35%, which would mean an overall saving of £270!
