Does it help if I add a parent or more mature driver to my insurance policy?
This can sometimes happen. Some insurance companies will allow a discount if a more experienced driver is placed on a young driver's policy.
This does not mean that the main driver is the more mature driver as this is a situation known as fronting, a position to avoid.
