What does NCB or NCD stand for? (No Claims Bonus)

NCB stand for No Claims Bonus (this can also be known as NCD or No Claims Discount) - - A no claims bonus (or NCB) is the discount that you have earned on a previous insurance policy for not making a claim. These discounts are determined by the number of years that you have not made a claim for.

There is a scale of discounts you ear with NCD. Although it varies from insurer to insurer, it typically looks like this;

Year
Discount
1
30-40%
2
40-50%
3
50-60%
4
60-65%
5+
65-75%

We use a panel of 30 insurers so when you get a quotation from ourselves we will be getting quotes from a range of companies with differing scales.
