Will it effect my premium to keep my car on the road, driveway or in a garage?

Discounts for where you store your car overnight vary on your circumstances. Generally if you live in a city there are greater discounts for keeping your car garaged overnight.

Often insurers will insist that high-risk vehicles are stored in garages. In exceptional circumstances, insurers will stipulate that theft of certain vehicles will not be covered unless the car is in a garage during the night.
