High performance cars not just for young drivers
High performance cars are not just for young drivers, according to new research.
A survey has found that professional women are keen to get their hands on powerful new sets of wheels as well.
This new breed of racy women are demanding more performance from their motors and seeking out the models that can deliver, insurance intermediary Hyperformance revealed.
Statistics compiled by the company based on the types of cars women want to insure show that cover for cars with more oomph is up 18 per cent in the last 12 months.
Hyperformance sales and marketing director Steve McPherson commented: "For years we have associated high performance with men and thought it was a 'boys and their toys' thing, but it seems the girls now want top performance from their men and their motors as well."
