Young drivers priced out of car insurance market
Many young drivers are being priced out of the car insurance market, a leading motor magazine has warned.
A survey by Max Power revealed that young drivers often struggle to afford insurance premiums.
Max Power editor John Sootheran said the industry should do more to prevent young drivers from being priced out of the market.
"Typically, young drivers can pay anything from £800 to £2000 a year for motor insurance and even more if they have a modified car," he said.
"While the fines are just a few hundred pounds, there's no real incentive to pay a huge insurance premium."
